Article Abstract
A destructive and vasculitic process should be considered in cases of subacute myelopathy with persistent cellular reaction in the cerebrospinal fluid and clinical responsiveness to corticosteroid therapy. The magnetic resonance imaging scan of the spinal cord may be normal.
